Thyroid conditions such as hypothyroid, hyperthyroid, and thyroiditis have been a mystery to solve for most doctors, and anyone who has overcome them have largely done it on their own without reliance on medications.
Of course, the doctors often blame your thyroid condition on your body attacking itself which is an unhelpful smear on the divine intelligence of the body. Ironically, those doctors who act like they’re God, proclaim that something made by God, is not smart enough to heal itself given the right conditions. Perhaps the doctors should sit this one out, and allow those who understand how the body works, guide others how to harness the infinite power of the body by recognizing the source of the problem and providing the body with the tools to fix it.
There are many things that negatively affect thyroid health, with some of the biggest insults coming from metal fillings, radiation exposure through technology, smoking, stress, biological infections, and various chemical insults in the air, food, and water. Combine these insults with nutritional deficiencies like iodine, and the thyroid can take a serious beating.
Now, like many issues inside the body, the original insult doesn’t always originate in the area where the symptoms are presenting. More simply stated, your thyroid complaints are often the symptoms of source issues festering somewhere else. So your thyroid issue may be the smoke, with the fire is in a different area of the body altogether.
For example, many issues with the thyroid or parathyroid originate with a source issue in the stomach. This could be a biological or chemical infection, such as h. Pylori or mercury, that could create stomach dysfunction that reverberates or gets displaced into the thyroid tissue. So fixing a thyroid issue in this case, would involve the remediation of the stomach that would eventually reflect into a healthier thyroid.
Another area that strongly impacts thyroid function is the liver. Failure to remove a chronic toxic burden in the liver will affect the gallbladder and stomach, which in turn can be reflected in poor thyroid health. Often, women dealing with the symptoms of what doctors call “menopause”, are often experiencing liver heat as a result of an unresolved toxic burden, and those women who have underperforming thyroids and are slapped with a disease label such as hypothyroid or Hashimoto’s, often experience more obnoxious menopause symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, fatigue, and disrupted menstrual cycles. So the liver, the thyroid, and the symptoms of menopause have close connections.
Of course, due to our poor food supply, bad lifestyle choices, and excessive burn rate, we can become nutrient deficient, especially in natural iodine. You can attempt to replace those stores with nascent iodine, but be reminded that this can come with detox issues and imbalances that have the potential to create other problems. A safer solution would be consuming or supplementing with iodine that contains the whole food source so to maintain more balance. Of course, this alone won’t usually remedy a chronic thyroid condition as the other insults mentioned earlier have to be dealt with appropriately as part of the overall plan.
So, when your doctor prescribes thyroid medication, they are not addressing the stomach, liver, pancreas, or liver, all which can be implicated in the reason for the condition. Also, it adds a toxic burden to your liver which only allows the condition to persist and keeps you stuck on medication, which only results in more quality of life issues down the road. Don’t be tricked by the term “biologics”, as these medications are NOT biologically appropriate for your body due to their isolated, synthetic, and toxic nature.
Now you can see why most people believe they can’t improve their thyroid health noticeably or get off medications for it. The professionals they are seeing either don’t know the real cause of thyroid dysfunction, don’t really, care, don’t offer a holistic approach, poison the body further, and/or aren’t able to put a plan together to address it properly.
Guess who fixed their hypothyroid condition with doctors? You guessed it, me. And I’ve helped others significantly improve it in the right conditions over a period of 8-12 weeks.
