“I already take supplements…”
A comment I hear often, when I say that they are a key factor in healing the body of chronic disease. My answer?
So what?
Saying you are taking supplements is like saying you’re eating food. It doesn’t provide any context. People can easily take bad supplements, at incorrect dosages, and for things the supplement won’t heal.
Just because you’re taking supplements doesn’t mean you already have that part figured out. In fact, every single person I’ve ever worked with that is taking supplements are wasting their money on ones that don’t fit their situation, are poor quality, and not at the right dosage to actually have the intended effect.
That even goes for health coaches, I’ve coached…(yes, many health coaches need help, and should know how important a “mentor” is to success).
But what those coaches and others haven’t quite understood yet, is that there are three simple things they haven’t done if they are not fully healed…
1. They haven’t done enough of the right things…
2. At the right dosages and consistency…
3. For a long enough period of time.
One of these things have been tripped up, often all three, if there has been a failure to really heal the body. If they do get #1 right, they rarely get the supplement dosages right, because they are unaware that the dose on the bottle is VERY general, and how to adjust it according to their needs.
Healing on your own or with a doctor is incredibly difficult because they either don’t know what to do, or don’t have the time to commit to you, and often both. This is where a GOOD coach, with a healthy experience in holistic practices, that has healed themselves and hundreds of others of chronic health problems, is key.
