Tired of conflicting health information and contradictory advice yet?

I don’t blame you. Everyone is trying to position themselves as an expert these days, and some have good intentions, while others don’t.

Some people get it confused that the number of followers is a key metric of the “expert”. While that can be true, it can also be incredibly false. I know at least a handful of popular natural health professionals who I would never trust for anything but elementary advice.

The tricky part that almost every health professional is guilty of, is that their particular discipline is the answer to all your problems. While this may be the case in some instances, it’s not usually true.

Here’s some common examples…

Seeing a conventional doctor? Drugs and surgery are the best answers.

Seeing a naturopathic doctor? Testing and supplements are your best choices.

Seeing a chiropractor? An adjustment is the answer to all your problems.

Going to an acupuncturist? Opening up your meridians and taking some herbs will be your best bet.

Going to a nutritionist? Food is always the answer.

Going to a spiritual or mindset coach? It’s all what’s upstairs.

Few understand all these things, because they haven’t experienced them all. The only people who typically have taken all these approaches into consideration, is someone who has HEALED themselves from serious chronic disease.

And the only one that most people will say was the least helpful, and actually hurt them badly, is conventional medicine. Not necessarily because the doctor didn’t care, but because they system they have been taught and indoctrinated into is one that was set up to fail the patient, and make them a slave to their health issues.

Don’t believe me? Think of someone who has been using that system regularly for many years that is truly HEALTHY. You’ll be thinking for a while, because you can’t ignore the source of the issues and poison the patient and have good health return for them. It’s impossible.

But when it comes to the rest of them, they all have validity. All have promise. IF you find a GOOD practitioner.

But rarely is one the answer. And rarely will they all agree. So you have to stop looking for consensus (especially on the inter-webs), and start looking for RESULTS.

Because you can write all the articles you want, shoot all the videos you can, and get all the followers you like…but the rubber meets the road when the RESULTS consistently flow in.

Without results, you’re either a newbie or a HACK. Not the best choices if you’re trying to solve a chronic health condition.

And both of those types of people are usually married to a specific product, and that’s all they have in their bag of tricks. They’re a one trick pony, and while they may appear cheap, you’ll nickel and dime your way to a small car loan never getting the results you really want.

In the end, the internet can be a blessing and a curse. Lots of available information but plenty of discernment is required. Many “intelligent” marketers, but very little wisdom. Knowing the difference is key.

In the meantime, RESULTS are your best marker for a quality health professional, as well as an EDUCATION from them, as that shows they care about you taking care of yourself, and not relying on them for the rest of your life.

They may be unicorns, but they’re out there. 😉
