In the desperate attempt to get to the bottom of a health problem, we have been taught that we need to know the cause, through the context of a disease label. So we go to a doctor, so they can run a battery of invasive and traumatic tests, which then gives them the perceived authority to tag a label to our sickness, and prescribe more toxic approaches to save us from our toxic burden and malnourishment.
Make sense? I hope not.
See, the system LOVES to give you a label, because they can act like they found the source of the illness, so they can exert authority over your treatment, and milk you as a pharmaceutical asset for the reminder of your life.
Sound harsh? It is. Which is why I’m suggesting you quit doing it.
Regardless of how you got to where you are with the medical cabal, is irrelevant. Mistakes are made in life, so don’t beat yourself up about it, and certainly don’t DWELL on the things you want to make a distant memory. Thinking about them only makes them persist.
It is important to understand, however, that in giving you a diagnosis they now basically have a license to print money off of your misery. You become a subscription to them, paying hundreds of dollars a month (on average), for decades. None of that happens, if you don’t get a diagnosis from them in the first place, and this is why they LOVE tagging you with a problem so they can get you on their pain profiteering system.
Whether good hearted doctors or nurses fully realize it or not, they’re part of this catabolic system that does next to NOTHING for healing those dealing with chronic health problems.
Now, the best part (for them) is that as long as you have your disease label, and you’re on their medications, you will identify with your disease as much as you identify with your name, solidifying that illness into your brain, and therefore your physiology, for the rest of your life.
That makes for a big paycheck for them.
This is why you should never use a disease as an identifier…IF you don’t want to continue to deal with it. Your thoughts and emotions tend to become things, so if you want to be healthy, you should lean towards solutions that ditch the label and the source of the issue, so you can eliminate the symptoms that are tagged with the diagnosis.
When I was originally diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, I immediately rejected that idea in my mind, not even knowing the purpose of that label 15 years ago. Intuitively, I knew I would not be an asset to the medical system, and I told myself I would find another way (even though I had NO idea what that way might be).
That thought alone, put me on the right path, and I sidestepped the system completely, and reversed what ended up being 13 chronic health conditions, rooted in digestive and autoimmune issues.
Now I show others how to do the same in the THRIVE Academy.
So, you have some choices to make. Be an asset to the medical system and allow them to profit off your pain for decades while you claim to be your illness, OR, break free, invest in your recovery with a system that puts eliminating the source issue as the priority, which eliminates the symptoms, helps reduce and eliminate the need for medication, and most importantly, brings health and happiness back to your life.
The choice seems obvious, but some of you are scared. Scared to leave your doctor. Scared to be healthy. Scared to not be “taken care of” by a white coat professional.
This is understandable, but silly. Focus on results, not degrees. After all, in the end, that is all you are after.
And you’re worth it.
