If you’re not hydrating through food, you’re doing it all wrong and may never achieve your optimal health (including reversing chronic health conditions)…
We have been fed the line that in order to hydrate properly, we must drink on average 8-12 glasses of water a day. But how effective is that, really?
Well, let’s look at the quality of your water first. Is it filtered? Is it free of hormone disrupting xenoestrogens? Do you put it in a glass or stainless steel bottle? Is it well mineralized?
There are so many pitfalls with water, it’s ridiculous. Whether it’s fluoride, chlorine, plastic residue, or one of the other dozen things contaminating our water supply, it’s become very difficult to obtain clean water which is absolutely essential to good health.
This reason alone makes straight water intake dubious at improving health outcomes.
But what if you hydrated primarily through your food?
Hint: EVERYTHING CHANGES.
When you satisfy much of your hydration needs through organic food, you get everything you want and nothing you don’t. For example…
You get vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and other nutrients that are very difficult or otherwise impossible with water. Remember, malnourishment or nutrient imbalances are a MAJOR factor in ANY disease, and you can’t rectify that through straight water intake.
Also, you eliminate the fluoride, chlorine, xenoestrogens, and other man-made chemicals when you get hydrated through organic food.
Now, the other half of staying well-hydrated through food is to NOT consume products that DEHYDRATE you.
What are some of the biggest offenders when it comes to dehydration?
Flour. Animal products. Coffee. Alcohol. Cheese.
Yes, all the things that most people consume on a regular basis.
Now, this doesn’t mean you can’t consume any of these products, but they should all be largely mitigated to maintain proper hydration levels in the body, which is a major factor in eliminating disease and maintaining good health.
In short, dehydration creates and exacerbates a lot of health issues, and straight water consumption will not be the answer to reversing those problems.
Now, hydrating through food doesn’t mean you need to juice everyday, although that certainly is a habit that will help. It just means focusing more on meals and snacks that have higher hydration levels. Once you learn to do that, disease starts to dissolve and you can start to feel like a healthy human again.
It’s not that difficult when you have a plan, and it’s certainly WAY easier than managing disease that sticks with you for the rest of your life, unless you decide to eradicate it properly and permanently.
I can help you do that, in the THRIVE Academy.
