The purpose of this juice recipe is to take the liver detoxifying properties of beets and lemons along with the spice of ginger and basil, and combine it with the sweetness of a red apple to give you a unique juicing experience that your tastebuds will enjoy. Be warned…this just may turn out to be your go-to juice.

Equipment Required
  • Good quality slow juicer
  •  1 red apple
  • 1 piece of ginger (1 inch or more)
  • 1 small beet
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 lime
  • 4-6 basil leaves
  • Cut up apple and beet, and peel lemon and lime.
  • Add all ingredients to juicer, one at a time.
  • Good any time of the day.
