There are no shortage of cancer threats these days and people are starting to become angry at the thought of the very word. There are not many things that stir up as much fear and anger as cancer, and for good reason. With no real “cure” being brought forward by pharmaceutical companies, and natural ones being suppressed, the chances of the mainstream picking up on cancer prevention and reversal strategies are slim to none, and slim just left town.
As with all disease, the approach to disease is two fold:
1. Eliminate all the offending toxins (physical and mental) that are causing it and keeping it alive and well.
2. Expose the body to nutrient dense foods, healing therapies, and proven anti-cancer nutrients that destroy it.
Identifying all the cancer causing elements that exist in the world today is a long list. However, if you can eliminate and detoxify efficiently from these 4 serious offenders, your road to preventing and eliminating cancer substantially improves.
Not many have escaped the public water fluoridation experiment, but thankfully, more and more people are realizing the dangers of drinking fluoridated tap water.
Multiple studies by Dr. Dean Burk, the former head of the Cytochemistry Section at the National Cancer Institute, have drawn connections between fluoride exposure and cancer. Dr. Burk’s research revealed that ingesting fluoride led to the growth of follicular cell tumors in mice.
“Analysis of the results in rats showed that animals who drank fluoridated water showed: an increase in tumors and cancers in oral squamous cells, a rare form of bone cancer (osteosarcoma), and an increase in thyroid follicular cell tumors,” reads a paper by Dr. Lita Lee, Ph.D., entitled “Fluoride – A Modern Toxic Waste.”
Since fluoride is in nearly 70% of all Americans public drinking water (according to the CDC and 2012 Water Fluoridation Statistics), this is a systemic threat to the population in developing cancer.
Artificial sweeteners became the darling of the zero calorie and fat busting movement, but in this quest to make people thinner, it quite likely made people sicker.
The headliner for artificial sweeteners, aspartame, is a combination of chemicals, namely aspartic acid (an amino acid with excitatory effects on brain cells), methanol, and phenylalanine. When aspartame breaks down in the body, it produces a compound that is a powerful brain tumour causing chemical.
Artificial sweeteners are found in many different formats and foods, and could go by the names of Splenda, Equal, Sweet ‘N Low, sucralose, and most recently, AminoSweet. With artificial sweeteners found in 6,000 products and consumed by more than 250 million people (Americans consuming about half), it is a serious cancer threat.
Glyphosate is the active ingredient in Monsanto’s Roundup herbicide, and according to Dr. Stephanie Seneff, a research scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), glyphosate residues “enhance the damaging effects of other food-borne chemical residues and toxins in the environment to disrupt normal body functions and induce disease.” In a study published in 2013, researchers also concluded that glyphosate is a xenoestrogen that is functionally similar to estradiol, the most potent human estrogen, and concentrations in the parts-per-trillion range had carcinogenic effects.
A study published by The Lancet also found that glyphosate is “probably carcinogenic to humans”, and glyphosate exposure for farm workers caused “increased risks of non-Hodgkins lymphoma that persisted after adjustment for other pesticides”.
Despite these types of findings, Monsanto petitioned the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and received approval to increase the allowable limit of glyphosate residues on crops like GMO soy and canola from 20 parts per million (ppm) to 40 ppm.
As of 2010, the adoption of Roundup Ready crops was about 90 percent of soybeans and 70 percent of corn crops, two very prevalent ingredients in America’s food.
Heavy metals like arsenic, lead, aluminum, cadmium, and nickel have woven their way into our day to day lives, and the results couldn’t be more debilitating. Aside from being implicated in digestive, brain, liver, kidney, and hormonal problems, they also have been shown to elevate the risk of cancer.
Mercury, the most dangerous heavy metal, has been officially recognized as “possibly carcinogenic”. International medical researcher, Yoshiaki Omura, MD, has observed that all cancer cells have mercury in them.
It is also known that candida overgrowth and mercury toxicity have a symbiotic relationship. Dr. J. Trowbridge, author of The Yeast Syndrome, noted that reports from MDs treating chronic candida found 98% of them had mercury toxicity. To add another dimension to this puzzle, it has also been found that a simple fungal infection can cause cancer.
Common exposure points to heavy metals include seafood, dental amalgams, vaccinations, personal care products, pots and pans, baking powder, smoke, paint, water, work sites, and chem trails. With the popularity of seafood, prevalence of mercury fillings, and an intense vaccination/flu shot schedule, one can hardly get out of consuming heavy metals or having them injected directly into their body.
Due to these prominent threats and overall poor lifestyle choices of Americans, cancer has become rampant. The solution is comprehensive, but in simple terms, it requires a holistic approach that drastically minimizes toxins and dramatically increases nourishment.
