After being on thousands of calls and listening to people describe their health problems and what they are trying to do to solve them, I can confidently say the place where people are making the most colossal mistakes that is keeping them unwell is in their NUTRITION.
Period. End of story.
Ok, let me add a bit to that.
First of all, it should be no surprise to you that the food supply is desperately deficient in nutrients and overwhelmingly riddled with chemicals. This sets everyone up for accelerated aging and eventually a disease label.
Don’t believe me?
Out of everyone you know over the age of 55, how many of them have NO disease label, no health conditions (small or big), and aren’t taking at least one prescription (including OTC)?
The answer is next to none.
Of course there are other important factors to consider that will play a part, but eating is what EVERYONE does and has done since they were old enough, and multiple times a day. The amount of food eaten by the typical North American is over 100,000 POUNDS by the time they are 55.
100,000 pounds. Think changing your eating habits early on might have changed the game for your vitality? Damn rights it would have.
But who do you get comprehensive nutritional plans from in the health industry?
Doctors? Hell no. Natural health professionals? Rarely. Nutritionists? Hopefully.
But do they know how to help you to eat to HEAL? Calorie counting and nutrient memorizing isn’t a diet that is going to result in much, other than you might lose a few pounds. It certainly isn’t going to solve a health problem.
So people are left to their own devices. Enter fad diets. The distraction from real health continues, as the industry preys on the desperation for people to lose weight and feel better, despite any real sustainable results to show for it.
Here’s a not so subtle hint…if your diet really worked, you’d be healthy by now. If you were buying fresh, organic food that clears infections and rectifies nutrient deficiencies or imbalances, you’d already feel great.
